May Quarterly Meeting a Hit!
Our May topic was “BUILDING A PERFORMANCE/PRODUCTIVITY BASED CULTURE”. The speaker was Kathy McGinley, Vice President, Human Resources for ISTA Pharmaceuticals. Kathy and a guest panel addressed the subject of how companies can achieve a performance based culture focused on results and impact rather than effort or time on the job. Most companies are looking for pragmatic ways to move from the traditional productivity model of time worked to the measurement of business results achieved. ISTA Pharmaceuticals is working on this challenge through setting corporate culture and expectations of the workforce and putting programs such as “Find A Better Way Day” in place.
