Is Your HR Measuring Up?
Are you curious to learn the differences between your HR program and the HR programs in large global companies? For our next quarterly meeting we'll hear from two senior HR Execs with large company experience from San Diego and the bay area. Come hear of their experiences with large corporate HR programs and pitfalls, of what brought them to San Diego and what history they bring with them. Imagine the cultural differences, changes in scale, challenges with change, implementing strategies and how they addressed these issues – better yet, ask them yourselves. Bring your questions!
Featured speakers:
Richard Ranieri, Sr. VP and CAO of Neurocrine Biosciences
(former VP of HR at Genencor International and Glaxo Smith Kline)
Toni Wayne, VP of HR at Prometheus Laboratories
(former VP of HR at Baxter Healthcare and Elan Biopharmaceuticals)
Don't miss this great opportunity to draw on their incredible experience. Our featured speakers welcome your specific questions in advance so they can target their responses to our audience. Please send your questions to Judy Michell at jmichell@neurocrine.com or Suzanne.krinsky@gmail.com.
The presentation will take place from 3:30-5:00 pm on May 8th at the Ardea location. Refreshments will be available immediately following the panel discussion, so please stay and visit! |

Getting to Yes with Your CEO and Executive Team
When presenting to your CEO and executive team, you must show how your proposals advance the company’s mission and business objectives. And you must do so succinctly, credibly, and confidently.
Featuring: Dana Bristol Smith
By interviewing HR leaders and CEOs at more than 30 San Diego organizations, Dana found out what CEOs want to hear, and what they don’t when proposals are presented to them. Dana has built an Executive Summary Presentation Template to help you save time and stress, and get better results when delivering your proposals.
Come to this interactive presentation with ideas to share about your upcoming proposals and HR initiatives. You’ll get some hands-on practice and feedback pitching your ideas to your colleagues. You’ll leave this presentation:
- Feeling more confident in your abilities to present your ideas and proposals
- Knowing how deliver your proposals as a business case
- With a usable tool to help you develop an executive presentation
